CREATE VISUAL INTEREST.

Decoration contributes individuality and provides additional function to spaces. Placement and combinations make a difference to their purpose.

Although my professional focus is interior architecture, in which I develop the overall circulation flow and aesthetic qualities of built elements, furniture and accessories reflect who we are and add personality to rooms.

Creating groupings, contrasting scale, color and texture, and creating repetition give a room interest. Combining old with new, warm and cool colors, metal with wood, pieces from our travels, together create visual interest.

Bench seating, storage and large decorative elements combine to give this entrance a welcoming presence.
Display niches provide an opportunity for another decorative grouping.
Repetition, texture and contrast provide visual interest.
