SCENIC GORGE VILLAGE

The old town of Dinant is nestled between the steep cliff face of the hill and the Meuse river in Belgium. Perfect for a day trip from Brussels, this remote, charming village was the birth place of Adolphe Sax, inventor of the saxophone. Throughout the town are sculptures commemorating this brass instrument.
