Terms & Conditions for Journey Design
These Terms & Conditions apply to all Journey Design services provided by AMG Inspired (“AMG Inspired,” “we,” or “us”). By engaging our services, you (“Client”) agree to the following terms.
Seller of Travel Registration
AMG Inspired is registered as a Seller of Travel in the State of California.
California Seller of Travel Registration No. 2165368-40.
Registration as a seller of travel does not constitute approval by the State of California.
1. Nature of Services
AMG Inspired provides commissioned Journey Design services. We are not a tour operator, airline, hotel, transportation company, or direct supplier of travel services.
Travel services are implemented through on-site partners recommended through Virtuoso — AMG Inspired’s affiliated global consortium specializing in luxury and experiential travel — and other independent third-party suppliers.
2. Third-Party Suppliers
All accommodations, transportation providers, guides, activity operators, and other travel suppliers are independent third parties.
These suppliers are responsible for pricing, availability, reservations, confirmations, fulfillment, and in-destination support.
AMG Inspired does not own, operate, or control these suppliers and is not liable for their acts, omissions, delays, cancellations, insolvency, or service failures.
Clients enter into contractual relationships directly with the applicable travel suppliers or their authorized representatives.
3. Client Responsibilities
- Supply complete and accurate traveler information (full names as per passports, dates of birth, etc).
- Review all confirmations and documents we send to you within 24 hours; advise us immediately of any discrepancies.
4. Payments and Fees
Journey Design fees are separate from all travel costs and are non-refundable once work has commenced.
Travel costs are quoted by third-party suppliers and are subject to their individual terms, conditions, cancellation policies, and change fees.
AMG Inspired may receive compensation from certain travel partners for bookings made through those partners. Such compensation does not replace or reduce the professional Journey Design fee.
AMG Inspired does not collect or process payments for travel services unless expressly stated in writing.
5. Pricing and Availability
All pricing for travel services is subject to change until confirmed and paid according to supplier terms.
Final payment to the supplier is due no later than the supplier’s published deadline. Failure to pay in full by that date may result in automatic cancellation and loss of funds.
Availability of accommodations, transportation, and experiences is not guaranteed until confirmed by the supplier.
6. Travel Insurance
Comprehensive travel insurance is strongly recommended and is the Client’s responsibility.
Travel insurance should include coverage for trip cancellation, medical expenses, emergency evacuation, travel delays, and other unforeseen risks.
If clients declines coverage, client accepts full responsibility for any loss, injury, or expense arising from the trip.
7. Travel Documentation
Clients are responsible for ensuring valid passports, visas, vaccination requirements, entry documentation, and compliance with all governmental regulations.
AMG Inspired is not responsible for denied boarding, denied entry, or travel disruptions due to incomplete or invalid documentation.
8. Force Majeure
AMG Inspired is not liable for delays, changes, or cancellations resulting from acts of God, natural disasters, weather events, pandemics, government actions, labor disputes, civil unrest, or any other events beyond our control.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, AMG Inspired shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages arising from travel services provided by third-party suppliers.
AMG Inspired’s total liability for any claim arising out of or relating to Journey Design services shall not exceed the total professional fees paid to AMG Inspired for the specific engagement giving rise to the claim.
Client assumes all risks associated with travel.
10. Dispute Resolution
In the event of a dispute, the parties agree to first attempt resolution through good-faith negotiation. If unresolved, the parties agree to participate in mediation in California prior to initiating litigation.
11. Governing Law and Venue
These Terms & Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict of law principles.
Any disputes arising out of or relating to these Terms & Conditions or the services provided shall be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in California, and Client consents to personal jurisdiction in such courts.
12. Intellectual Property
All Journey Design materials, documents, and written plans remain the intellectual property of AMG Inspired.
Clients are granted a personal, non-transferable license to use the materials solely for their own travel purposes. Materials may not be reproduced, resold, distributed, or used for commercial purposes without written consent.
13. Severability
If any provision of these Terms & Conditions is determined to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
14. Attorney’s Fees
In the event of any legal action arising out of these Terms & Conditions, the prevailing party shall be entitled to recover reasonable attorney’s fees and costs, to the extent permitted by law.
15. Updates
AMG Inspired reserves the right to update these Terms & Conditions at any time. The most current version will be published on this page.
16. Acceptance of Terms
Payment of any deposit or fee signifies that client has read, understood, and accepted these Terms & Conditions on behalf of all traveler’s on the booking.
