NEW HOME CONSTRUCTION
in consultation with Story Design and Construction
Design of this new construction home started by modifying a floor plan to create better flow and to create focal points and architectural interest throughout the home. Then architectural elements were created to achieve the aesthetic.
This contemporary home was inspired by French cottages. Exterior use of stone, heavy timber and leaded glass is reflected in the interior architecture where rustic marries refined.
Contrast is created through a variety of finishes and fixtures: white wood cabinetry and trim topped with dark honed counters are paired with others of dark-stained wood and polished marble surfaces; masonry and iron meet the sparkle of crystal and chrome in the finishes and fixtures.
